About Me

It's hard to believe I am getting ready to start my 12th year in eduacation.  I was an elementary teacher for 7 years before becoming a counselor.  The past 4 years I spent as an elementary school counselor.  This coming school year will be my first year as a middle school counselor.  I am looking forward to a very exciting year!

I loved being a classroom teacher, I love being a counselor even more, but the best job of all is being a wife and mom of two boys.  My boys are full of energy and keep me on my toes.  I wouldn't want it any other way.

In my free time I enjoy exercising (which right now is mostly running with a double stroller), watching movies, shopping, sitting on my patio, and getting pedicures.  I love bright colors, desserts, listening to music, and sports.  College football is by far a favorite of mine.

 

I am new to the blogging world and must admit that I am a bit out of my comfort zone.  Although, I look forward to sharing my ideas, as well as hearing yours.  Blogging seems to be a great way to connect with people, so I hope this little adventure will bring that my way along with a lot of learning.
